The Central Library of the University was established in the year 2001. It is Situated adjacent to the administrative building inside the campus, the library has 54099 numbers of text and reference books in different subjects besides books of common interest. At present the library is subscribing for 58 journals and 17 magazines. e-resources by EBSCO and Elsevier ScienceDirect (10 Subjects) journals are accessible to the students, scholars, and faculty members of the University. The holdings of the library have been fully processed using the popular technical tools like 20th Edition DDC for classification and AACR-2 for cataloguing. OPAC through SOUL 2.0. The Library is fully automated with RFID based automation integrated with SOUL 2.0 Integrated Library Management System (ILMS).

The library caters the need of students, teachers, researchers associated with the University and intelligentsia and cultured classes of North Orissa. The library was established as a centre to advance knowledge in the fields of non-conventional subjects relevant to this part of the state such as Tribal Studies, Wild-life & conservation Biology, Remote sensing & GIS, conventional subjects such as Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Economics and some socially relevant and economically viable courses such as Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Environmental Management & Technology, Computer Science and Management.

Human Resource Development Centre
HRDC (Human Resource Development Centre) building of MSCBU is a specialized facility in the university designed to support the training and professional development of faculty members, staff, and sometimes students. It serves as a central hub for organizing orientation programmes for teachers, refresher courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences aimed at enhancing teaching skills, research capabilities, and the use of modern technologies in education. The building typically includes well-equipped seminar halls, smart classrooms, computer laboratories, administrative office, and residential accommodation for participants. HRDC buildings play a crucial role in improving the quality of higher education by promoting continuous learning, encouraging innovation in teaching methodologies, and strengthening the overall academic environment of the institution.

The canteen of MSCB University is an essential facility within the campus that provides food and refreshments to students, faculty, and visitors. It offers a variety of items such as snacks, meals, tea, and beverages at affordable prices, making it convenient for students to access food without leaving the campus. The canteen serves as a common gathering place where students relax, interact, and spend their leisure time between classes. It provides basic seating arrangements with a capacity of 40 no.s and takeaway options, and the food is generally considered economical, with a wide range of items like rice dishes, snacks etc.

There are two separate gymnasium (Gents and Ladies) equipped with modern instruments to promote fitness opportunities to the young students as well as faculty members. Equipment in gymnasium include 3 Treadmill (Aerofit), 1 set Six Station Multi Gym (Aerofit), 1 Incline Bench Press (Aerofit), 48 Dumbbells with Rubber coated, 42 P. U. Plate (Aerofit), 2 Recumbent Bike (Aerofit), 1 Decline Bench, 1 Flat Bench (Aerofit), 2 Smith Machine (Aerofit), etc. A trainer has been hired by the University for providing assistance, guidance and proper training in the Gymnasium. An exclusive Open-Air Gymnasium facility for the boarders of Ladies Hostel is established inside the Ladies Hostel Complex with all-weather double skiing machine, Leg pressing bars, Twisters and Rowing Machines. A Yoga Centre is present in the University campus which is managed by the Dept. of Yoga and Naturopathy with regular yoga sessions for faculty members, research scholars and students of the University.

MSCBU Convention Hall is a large, well-designed space within its campus, used for hosting major events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, cultural programmes, meetings, and annual events. It is typically equipped with 1000 seated spacious seating arrangement, a stage or dais, advanced audio-visual systems, lighting facilities, and central air conditioning facility to ensure comfort for a large audience. This hall plays an important role in organizing academic events, guest lectures, convocations, and training programmes. It provides a formal and organized environment where large groups of people can gather, interact, and exchange ideas effectively and serves as a central venue for both academic and social functions, contributing to the institutional and community activities.
