PERSONAL INFORMATION

Ranjan Kumar Behera is a Faculty member in the Department of History at MSCB University, Baripada, and a dedicated teacher and scholar in the field of History. He completed his graduation with first class with distinction as the University topper in History from North Orissa University in 2010. He subsequently obtained his M.A. with First Class and M.Phil. degrees from Utkal University. At present, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in History at MSCB University, Baripada. His research focuses on the “Changing socio-economic and cultural profile of the Juang tribe of Keonjhar district, Odisha”, reflecting his deep interest in tribal history and regional studies. He also completed an Elementary Course in Prakrit Language and Literature from the Bhogilal Leherchand Institute of Indology, Delhi, in 2017, which has enriched his understanding of ancient languages and historical texts. He has actively participated in several national workshops, training programmes, and lecture series on research methodology, archaeology, and tribal heritage under PM-USHA initiatives. He has also presented research papers at national seminars on tribal livelihood, heritage, and agriculture, and has contributed to academic activities through participation in conferences. He has around nine years of teaching experience and is committed to guiding students with clarity and sincerity. His strong academic background, active research engagement, and extensive teaching experience make him a knowledgeable and dedicated educator in the field of History.
