Department Of Public Administration

The Master in Public Administration (MPA) Program, prepares students for leadership and scholarship by educating them in areas of Administrative Theories and Thought, Indian Administration, Public Policy and Governance, Comparative Public Administration, Personnel Administration, Civil Services Reforms, Organizational Behaviour, Ethics and Governance in Public Administration, Development Administration, Financial Administration, Rural and Urban Governance, Climate Change and Disaster Management, Social Welfare Administration, E-Governance, and so many. In the program, students develop the following leadership and scholarship capabilities: Theoretical and practical underpinnings about public administration theories, research and practices. Analytical and critical thinking skills and aptitude required to serve and address the public issues and concerns. An understanding of the ethical basis for public services and governance. Communicate and interact productively with a diverse social groups and citizenry. Prepare for higher order of thinking and analysis in different research areas of public administration.
