About the Department
This TE & SCERT, Odisha, Bhubaneswar has 68 field level institutes for pre-service as well as in-service training. We have 30 DIET, 04 BITEs AND 34 ETEIs. All the institutes has 100 intake capacity for 2-Year D.El.Ed. courses. We conduct Online Entrance Test for Admission to D.El.Ed. (02 years), Courses every year.
The department of Pre-service Teacher Education of SCERT does all the admission related activities and makes a co-ordination between Board of Secondary Education and field level teacher education institution.

The vision of pre-service training for educators is to create a foundation that empowers future teachers to be effective, innovative, and inclusive in their approach to education. This vision encompasses several key elements:
