The Condensed Matter Group of Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar is organizing a conference on EMERGING TRENDS in ADVANCED FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS. Topics that will be dealt in this conference are:

• Magnetism and magnetic materials
• Topological insulators
• Low dimensional systems/Nanomaterials
• Thermoelectrics, Dielectrics, Ferroelectrics
• Superconductivity, etc.

The scope and objective of the conference is to provide a platform to the young researchers to discuss recent advancements in condensed matter and material science. Experts from various fields will provide a comprehensive overview of cutting edge research in above-mentioned areas.

Active participation from students and young researchers are strongly encouraged through poster presentation. Due to logistic reasons total number of participants is limited. Institute will however take care of the AC-III train fare and local hospitality for all the selected participants.
