    Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar

Welcome

Dark matter and astroparticle physics is an active area of research. This workshop, which is a part of the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar aims to bring experts, senior Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows to a common platform to foster a rich exchange of ideas and expertise.

We will start with a few review talks to state the status of our current understanding of dark matter and astroparticle physics including cosmological aspects followed by more specific and technical discussions presenting the latest work and developments in the field.

There will be open discussions led by our esteemed experts on specific topics, providing ample opportunities for young minds to engage and collaborate with established figures in the field.

Few of the specific subtopics of interest are:

  • Dark matter: model perspective (susy and non-susy)
  • Dark matter production mechanisms
  • Direct and indirect detection of dark matter
  • Collider probe of dark matter
  • CMB and BBN probe of dark matter
  • Dark matter simulations- recent updates
  • Leptogenesis and baryogengesis
  • Gravitational wave physics
