Upon his arrival at PPA Administrative Building during his maiden visit to the Port, the Hon\u2019ble Governor was welcomed by Shri P.L.Haranadh, Chairman, PPA along with other Senior Officials of the Port. Ceremonial Guard of Honour was given by CISF Unit, PPA.\u00a0 Hon\u2019ble Governor was welcomed with flowers by group of NCC Alumni of Port Trust High School Naval NCC Wing. Chairman, PPA apprised the Hon\u2019ble Governor about several infrastructural and technological advancements harnessed by the Port. This was followed by a meeting with the Port Management. Hon\u2019ble Governor was briefed by the Chairman on Port\u2019s future plans as well as the host of initiatives undertaken to enhance its Ease of Doing Business, Green Port Initiatives, future expansion programs, infrastructure projects. The Hon\u2019ble Governor expressed his happiness &amp; appreciated the Port developmental works and various infrastructure facilities provided. The Hon\u2019ble Governor was presented memento by Chairman, PPA. Then he visited the Harbour area to have first hand experience about port operations during a Launch ride.
