Puri Cruise Terminal Project Gains Momentum with Site Inspection by PPA & Odisha Government.

In a significant step towards strengthening Odisha’s maritime tourism, the Chief Engineer of Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Shri Himanshu Sekhar Rout, conducted a site inspection for the proposed world-class cruise terminal in Puri today.

The proposed terminal will be developed at Shipasurubali Mouza, a strategically important location near the upcoming Puri International Airport and along the new Puri Bypass road. The site offers strong connectivity, making it ideal for cruise tourism infrastructure.

The project is being developed as a joint initiative between Paradip Port Authority and the Government of Odisha, as part of a broader vision to create a comprehensive tourism and infrastructure hub in the region.

The cruise terminal will also complement the prestigious Samuka Project, further enhancing Puri’s appeal as a major destination for both domestic and international cruise operators.
