Paradip Marathon-2025 on the Occasion of Port Foundation Day on 3rd January-2025.

Marathon will be flagged off by the Chief Guest, Chairman, PPA at 07.30 AM on 3rd January 2025 at the Hanuman Temple near Gate No.5 and conclude at Gopabandhu Stadium passing through the designated route covering a distance of 14 Kms. The route will be identified, marked and the route chart will be provided to all the participants. The participants must be above 18 years & below 40 years of age as on 31.12.2024 and have to submit fitness certificate from a Govt. Medical officer or PPA medical officer. A panel of doctors from Port Authority will also be made available to check the fitness of participants, incase of necessity.
All men participants have to deposit an entry fee of Rs.50/- per head and Rs.30/- for women participants. The participants will be supplied with a set of Banion & Short and chest nos. in duplicate. All outstation participants will be provided with unfurnished accommodation and dinner i.e. on 02.01.2025. On the Marathon day, breakfast will be provided to all participants after the Marathon, at Gopabandhu Stadium.
The application along with medical fitness certificate, undertaking, xerox copy of voter ID/Aadhar Card & Age proof certificate and entry fee in cash will be received at the time of registration. Registration of participants will be made on 1st January 2025 & 2nd January 2025 at Gopabandhu Stadium.
01-01-2025 – Local participants under Paradip Municipality area -10.00 AM to 04.00 PM. (Lunch Break from 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM)
01.01.2025 & 02.01.2025 – Outstation participants -10.00 AM to 05.00 PM. (Lunch Break from 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM) Registration will continue untill registration of 600 boys and 100 girls or till 5 PM which ever is earlier.
N.B. No entry will be made in the registration as well as attendance after the scheduled time.
Attendance of the participants shall be taken at Hanuman Temple near Gate No.5 on 03.01.2025 from 06.30 AM to 07.30 AM. The time limit for completing the total distance of Marathon (14 km) will be 2 (Two) hours from the starting time.
The winners of 19th Paradip Marathon will be awarded prizes as per followings:

- The first 150 participants in men category and first 50 participants in women category covering the distance of 14 KM will be given medals after which participants who complete the distance within 2 hrs. will be provided only certificate of participation.
- All the District Associations and Registered Clubs should encourage more and more athletes to participate in the event particularly women athletes and nominate participants in large numbers to take part in the Marathon 2025.
