39th PPA Annual Flower Show Blooms with Vibrant Colors and Fragrant Delights.

39th Annual Flower Show is in full bloom, captivating visitors with a breathtaking display of nature’s artistry. Held at Officers’ Club, the show was being organized by R & B Division of Paradip Port Authority this morning. It was inaugurated by Shri P.L.Haranadh, Chairman, PPA. He said that the basic objective of the flower show is to develop Paradip Port as a green and beautiful Port. Beautification activity is going on in full swing from Atharabanki to Gate No.-4. To promote greenery in and around Port township one lakh saplings are being planted every year continuously for the last three years through OFDC. In another two years there will be remarkable change in the Port landscape. Shri Nilabhra Dasgupta, Dy.Chairman and other HoDs were also present on the occasion.  The show features an array of stunning floral exhibits showcasing the talents of employees , Port Users, local gardeners, florists, and horticultural enthusiasts as 135 participants exhibited spectacular collections of flowers, vegetables and plants in 48 different categories such as flowers, classified ornamental plants in cut and pot arrangements, bonsai, vegetables and foliage. The public and denizens thronged the place to visit various exhibition stalls. The myriad hues and scent of flowers at this flower show was mesmerizing. In a glittering function held in the evening at Officers’ Club, Chairman, PPA, Deputy Chairman, PPA and other HODs awarded prizes to the winners in different categories. Visitors strolled through vibrant gardens, admired intricate floral arrangements, and learnt about the latest trends in gardening and plant care.
