All the Heads of the Departments of the Post-Graduate Departments of the University are the members of the Post-Graduate council in their ex-officio capacity.<\/p>\n<h5>The Post-Graduate Council performs the following functions<\/h5>\n<ul class=\"list-nou\">\n<li>General policy matters in regard to Post-Graduate studies and research<\/li>\n<li>Principles for selection of students for admission into different courses<\/li>\n<li>Principles for the award of scholarships<\/li>\n<li>Conduct of Semester Examinations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct of entrance tests for admission to self-financing courses (Not covered under Common P.G. Entrance Test through Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha)<\/li>\n<li>All matters concerning students including placement and training<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of discipline among students on the campus<\/li>\n<li>Principles for admission of students to hostels along with fee structure<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of holiday list for P.G.
