The NSU has formed a Moot Court Committee to inculcate interest in mooting and to enable the students to achieve the skills required.
This committee organizes the Intra- College Moot Competitions to select the teams of students to be sent to various Moot Court Competitions.

The Moot Court Committee aims to create a professional skills culture in the students of the School of Law by training students for moot court competitions, alternative dispute resolution, and trial advocacy competitions organized by other law schools.

The Committee selects teams for moot court, alternative dispute resolution, and trial advocacy competitions through a process of empanelment and open challenger rounds.
